Community Connections Project

This two-year project funded through the Big Lottery, Reaching Communities Programme provides a vital outreach service giving individual advice and support in relations to ‘getting active’ within the community for people with learning disabilities, in Trafford.

The main focus of the project is to develop and deliver a range of social activities to help develop confidence, gain skills and enjoy taking part in community activities/events. The project aims to give people facing disability the knowledge and experience to realise their full potential and live as independently as possible.

The project is currently working in partnership with a number of organizations to deliver a programme of workshops and community activities. Please see our events page for details of how you can Get Involved & Get Active
